Born one of two children in low income New Orleans, Louisiana, Orlando was raised by a single mother name Edith Terry, who had little education and financial means, but who possessed the skill sets an individual could never learn from higher education. Edith Terry instilled the knowledge and work ethic within her son needed to succeed, which he would carry throughout his entire career.
As a proud father of 4 beautiful children, Orlando went on to earn his Undergraduate Degree in Business Management/Administration from Strayer University, and a Graduate Degree from Alpha University.
Orlando has over 25 years of executive, consulting, coaching, motivational speaking, and most importantly, real-life, in-the-trenches business experience. Orlando believes business and/or management decisions are not generic, whereas “one size fits all”. Orlando worked for many years as an executive within the for-profit school industry. He has owned a total of 2 training institutions. One of which he was the Founder, Owner, and Campus President of Georgia Community Technical Institute. Orlando also served as the President of the consulting firm National Education Group. In addition, Orlando founded and lead as the first African-American for a National Accrediting Body called the National Accreditation for Colleges and Schools.
